Summit HS Range
HS is high starch, and these diets are proven over many years to support yields typically up to 10000 litres. Besides high starch, all these diets contain good levels of DUP from soya and maize distillers, which is a critical part of balancing these diets.
HDF Range
Some 'HDF's are better than others! We have kept faith with a specification of over 13MJ/kg DM and high DUP content while others have removed soya altogether and allowed energy to drift down. We believe these are some of the best diets on the market for balancing grazed grass and high starch outside feeds. Beet pulp remains an integral part of these rations.
Medallion 25
Might have once been named 'Maize Balancer' but with whole-crop, ground ear maize, Alkalage and other low protein forages now being fed, this is a staple for those wanting to add protein to the parlour ration to balance the ration.
Extra 22
Perfect for a 20-40% maize silage diet as a compound balancer. HDF base and high protein matches a high starch low protein outside feed.
Medallion 18 & 20
These are often under rated as they are excellent diets capable of supporting milk yields up to, say, 7500 litres and they are at a very competitive price and still contain soya.
Energizer 18 & 20
These are formulated for a low cost option and represent very good value. These diets often outperform expectations because they are very palatable and can be fed at high levels without risk of digestive upset.
Non-GM Feeds
We have a dedicated non-GM mill at Congleton which is capable of supplying a full range of non-GM and organic feeds should the need arise. We offer New Gold Medal 18 and 20 as non-GM dairy rations from Aston, plus Fast Beef Nuts as a non-GM beef ration. Beef 38 Protein concentrate pellets are non-GM.
